With a combined capacity of over 245,000 seats, the Qatar stadiums stand as pinnacles of design and engineering being the official venues of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. These include the Al Bayt, Al Thumama, Al Rayyan and Al Janoub Stadiums, as well as Stadium 974, the first fully dismantlable stadium in World Cup history.
An advanced cooling system was installed in all stadiums to maintain comfortable temperatures during the match. In addition, their modular design allows for upper-tier seating to be removed post-match. Each stadium is a reflection of Qatar’s culture, blending traditional heritage with modern technology, and meets the high standards of Qatar’s Global Sustainability Assessment System (GSAS).
